We are currently looking to hire a music therapist for our facility. The position would be 32 hours a week – 4 days a week, at least 1 evening, and hours can be flexible. Job Description
Responsibilities: Performs music therapy services in a professional and compassionate manner utilizing music therapy techniques appropriate for the individual patient; documents each session in the patient’s electronic medical chart (EPIC); provides referrals for additional CCT therapies when appropriate & necessary. Participates as an integral member of an interdisciplinary health care team. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s Degree in music therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Music Therapy Association and has completed an internship. Experience providing music therapy in a hospital and/or health care setting. writing and verbal skills, and have some experience or desire to work with a preschool population.

Description:
Growing With Music, Incorporated is a developmental music program for toddlers and preschoolersTM. Join the team selected as Editor's Choice for Superior Services by Minnesota Parent Magazine in 1994. Music therapists provide services based on an early childhood music curriculum in community based, home and educational settings. Position available serves the seven county metro areas of the Twin Cities, primarily St. Paul and Maplewood areas. There is a minimum commitment of 3 mornings a week, and the opportunity to expand to 5 mornings a week.
It is expected that the candidate will make a minimum commitment of one year to this position.
